Terms and Conditions

Please note that your booking will not be confirmed until Cocktail Gastronomy Catering Pty Ltd (Crafted here forward) has received the completed confirmation form and nominated deposit amount.

 

PRICING & BOOKINGS

  • Prices are based on a 2-hour minimum spend plus hourly intervals thereafter. Some exceptions may apply. All prices exclude GST.
  • If revenue takings are less than the minimum spend then the client is liable for the difference.
  • An invoice will be sent to you for a deposit of $250.00 to confirm your event. All events over $5,000.00 will incur a 10% deposit. Your event will not be secured until we receive payment of this deposit. All deposits are non-refundable.
  • All confirmation of menu, guests numbers, dietaries and times are to be confirmed twenty-one (21) days prior to your event.
  • You will receive an invoice based on your confirmations above, twenty-one (21) days prior to your event for payment of the balance of your event.
  • Account balances are required to be settled fourteen (14) days prior to your event via bank transfer or credit card.
  • Decreases in guest numbers due to COVID-19 cannot be refunded after your final payment has been made.
  • Five (5) days prior to your event, if the account has not been settled Crafted will charge the credit card details held in the confirmation form.
  • Final guest numbers need to be confirmed no less than fourteen (14) days prior to the event.
  • We will endeavour to cater to increases in guest numbers seventy-two hours (72) prior to the event but cannot guarantee due to limitations in ordering and suppliers.
  • Written notice of cancellation is required for all confirmed events.
  • Crafted reserves the right to keep your deposit on cancellation.
  • Events cancelled less than two (2) weeks prior to event date (or four (4) weeks in September through to March) will incur a 25% charge to recover administration costs and business loss.
  • Events cancelled less than two (2) weeks prior to event date in September through to March will incur a 50% charge to recover administration costs and business loss.
  • In the case that an event must be cancelled or rescheduled due to COVID-19 within seven (7) days, Crafted reserves the rights to cover any costs/outlay of food and beverage already purchased/prepped for your event.
  • A 20% surcharge applies to the whole invoice for all Public Holidays, long weekends (including the Saturday and Sunday) and including Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve and Easter weekend. Please enquire if you are unsure if a surcharge will be applied to your event. 
  • Prices are current at the time of quotation however are subject to change based on market fluctuations.
  • All prices shown are exclusive of GST, unless stated otherwise.
 

PAYMENT TERMS

  • Credit card details are required to confirm your booking. Please note your credit card will NOT be charged, unless cancellation of your event (see conditions above) or as payment after your event if balance is not paid seven (7) days from your invoice being issued.
  • If payment is not made five (5) days from receiving final invoice you consent to the credit card (confirming your booking) being charged the full amount. Acknowledgement of this condition is confirmed by signing the booking form.
  • Daily limit restrictions will result in split payments. Declined payments may result in a debt collection agency to be appointed.
  • We do not take tentative bookings; credit card details and payment of your nominated deposit amount are required to confirm/hold your event date.
  • A final invoice will be sent out no later than seven (7) days after your event to account for any additional charges/breakages. The balance is due seven (7) working days, upon receipt, unless prior arrangement has been made with Crafted Management.
  • Crafted reserves the right to charge your credit card the full amount for un-finalised bills after seven (7) days from invoice being sent.
  • Payment can be made via credit card or bank transfer. A 2.2% surcharge applies for credit card transactions.

  • When making your payments (deposits and final payment) via bank transfers please use the allocated bank transfer code indicated in your invoice.
  • A debt collector will be appointed if payment is not received or withheld. Debt collection fees will be passed onto the you the client.
  • Once a bank transfer has been completed, please send the remittance to events@cocktailgastronomy.com.

 

VENUE AND HIRE EQUIPMENT

  • Crafted will not be liable for any damage or loss caused to a person or property arising from the handling of any piece of hired equipment (e.g. mobile bar, glassware).
  • Any breakages or damages to the equipment or venue, which is property from or hired by Crafted during the event, will be charged to the client after the event has concluded at recommend retail or trade prices.
  • Failure to pay any invoices for damaged equipment or venue after seven (7) days will be automatically charged to your nominated card that we have on file.
  • Crafted will not be liable for any damage or general use/wear and tear of equipment used on site (Private home or public space, venues)
 

SERVICE TIMES AND ADDITIONAL HOURS

  • Any extra hours of service/labour incurred due to speeches, games etc not previously discussed with Crafted will incur an additional labour charge for all staff at the event. This will be sent as an additional invoice within seven (7) days post-event and must be paid within seven days (7) of receiving the invoice. The following rates apply exclusive of tax. Functions Manager, Approved Managers, Cocktail Mixologists and Chefs at $65p/h, Professional Beverage and Wait Staff $52 p/h (excluding tax).
  • In the event a food package goes over time due to circumstances out of our control on the night, Crafted will not be held liable.
  • In the event any package goes over time due to circumstances out of our control on the night and staff times must be altered, labour charges will be passed on to the client at the rates listed above.
  • Crafted staff are included in most of our packages, however if you require additional staff, the following rates apply. Cocktail Mixologists $62 p/h, Chefs $65 p/h, Professional Beverage and Wait Staff $52 p/h (excluding tax).
  • All staff are charged a minimum three (3) hours and organisers must allow a one (1) hour set up and pack down either side of the function. (E.g.: a 4-hour function requires staff for 6 hours)
  • Cocktail Gastronomy base additional staffing on a 1:30 ratio. Labour services will be quoted accordingly.
 

RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL

  • Crafted is a registered trading name under Cocktail Gastronomy Pty Ltd.
  • Crafted holds a SPECIAL FACILITY LICENCE. Licence No 6280150368.
  • Crafted practices responsible service of alcohol. Staff reserve the right to refuse serving intoxicated patrons and will not be liable for any damage or injury caused by intoxicated guests.
  • Crafted practices the procedures and controls to prevent juveniles being sold or supplied alcohol.
  • All management and staff of Crafted are trained in RSA compliance with Department of Racing, Gaming and Liquor requirements.
  • Crafted can supply/sell liquor for consumption at premises that are not subject to any other liquor licence and where the caterer has agreed to organising the function to provide a food and/or beverage service for a pre-arranged event, reception or function, where no more than 200 people are expected to attend at any one time.
  • Crafted is required to lodge an application for variation of licence conditions for numbers greater than 200 people.
  • Crafted has the approval for the following trading hours. Monday to Thursday from 6am to 12 midnight; Friday and Saturday from 6am until 1am the following morning; Sunday from 10am to 10pm.
  • All alcohol will be removed from the premises once service has been completed, an additional charge will apply if our staff stay and serve after the confirmed finish time of service.
 

SAFETY AND LIABILITY

  • It is the client’s responsibility to provide a safe environment for Crafted staff and event guests.
  • Crafted does not accept any duty of care or liability to patrons or guests of the client.
  • The client will be responsible for any damages to equipment or facilities at a hired venue.
  • The client indemnifies Crafted against any liability to third parties arising out of any act or omission in connection with the function or event.
 

TRAVEL

  • A transport/delivery and collection fee of $99.00 applies to all events within Crafted perimeters (>25km from Perth CBD).
  • A long-distance travel fee of $2.00 per kilometre applies to all events outside of
  • Crafted perimeters (>25km from Perth CBD) This is in addition to the above transport fee.
  • Please enquire if you are unsure if an additional travel charge may apply to your event.
 

FORCE MAJEURE

  • Where matters beyond the reasonable control of Crafted impair or prevent Crafted being able to perform its obligations as laid out, the client releases Crafted from any liability or loss incidental or consequential to such matters.
  • Crafted will endeavour to maintain prices as quoted; however, prices are subject to change without notice.
  • Crafted reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice.
 

ILLUSTRATIONS ON OUR SITES
Photographs used on our websites to illustrate single or multi-location experiences are provided to us by experience providers and are used as an indication only of the vessels, entertainment, vehicles, craft, performers, venues and animals you may experience.

 

USE OF IMAGERY/VIDEOGRAPHY
Your image may be captured at any time during your event and be used by Crafted Events in publicity, promotional or advertising material in any format whatever, within or outside of NSW. In booking an Crafted Events event you consent, on behalf of your guests to your event images being recorded and used for these purposes and you acknowledge that copyright in these materials rests with Crafted Events without compensation or payment of any kind to You. If you wish to opt out you may do so by contacting us at least 72-hrs pre-event on the contact details provided in your booking confirmation.

 

EXPERIENCE SESSION LENGTH
Experience schedules and times are approximate and are provided as a guide to the total time you will be at the respective venues. There may be waiting time involved due to unforeseen circumstances. Any itinerary provided to you is indicative only and the order of events may change.

In the case you are running late, please contact the venue and/or transport and/or entertainment providers directly to notify of your late arrival. Note your experience may be cut short or cancelled completely without refund in the event of a late arrival time.

PROMOTIONAL OFFERS
Crafted Events offers promotional discounts and special offers from time to time (‘Promotional Offers’ or ‘Promotional Codes’). If you have a Promotional Code, it should be entered at the final payment screen where prompted or quoted to your Crafted Events event planner. By redeeming any of Crafted Events’s Promotional Codes or Promotional Offers, you agree to accept and comply with all of the following terms and conditions of use.

If you have been provided a valid Promotional Code, you must enter it into the designated field in the shopping cart or quote to your Crafted Events event planner at the time of booking. Otherwise, your discount will not be applied.
Promotional Codes must be used before the designated expiration date. No extensions will be allowed under any circumstances.
Promotional Codes and Promotional Offers cannot be combined.
Unless otherwise specified Promotional Codes may only be used once per person.
Where multiple discounts apply, the user will receive the maximum discount available.
Crafted Events reserves the right to remove any Promotional Offer or Promotional Code without notice at any time..

The text and illustrations (including photographs) used by Crafted Events are protected by copyright and must not be copied in whole or in part with the express permission of Crafted Events.
